Our dietitian, Nicola, specialises in dietary education for multiple nutritional aspects of disease, weight management and sports nutrition to help you keep on track for the long term, enhance health and to address sport specific requirements or performance goals.
An initial consultation with Nicola will be an hour long (£165) and follow up appointments are 40 minutes (£75). Nicola will carry out a thorough assessment and offer you individualised, scientifically sound nutritional advice. You will work together to formulate a realistic and achievable action plan.
Weight loss and healthy eating programme:
New Body Osteopathy also offer a weight loss and healthy eating programme that includes 1 x 60 min initial consultation and 4 x 40min follow up appointments – £350
Offering a full nutritional analysis, resources and regular email support between sessions. Motivational interviewing and long term behaviour change approach to build a healthier relationship with food.
During a consultation, Nicola will take the time to get to know you. You will work together to create an achievable plan that suits your lifestyle and is tailored to your needs.
During your initial appointment a full anthropometric assessment can be made where body measurements including weight, height, waist circumference and skin fold measures are taken to assess your body fat and muscle mass. These measures can be repeated at follow up appointments so that you can see how your body composition changes over time.
Thorough dietary assessment is also available using nutrient analysis software offering you an in depth nutritional analysis helping you to reach your lifestyle, health and sports performance goals. You will be given a report of your energy (calorie), macronutrient (fat, carbohydrate, protein) and micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) intake to identify where there may be scope for change.
In some situations, it might be necessary to contact your GP prior to or following your consultation for more information. Your permission will always be sought before contacting anyone else.
